The Story
The
basic tracks for Magica were
recorded live in the studio in about three
hours. Some of the performances were based
on sketches brought in by Todd Horton to
employ a compositional approach to improvising.
Others were completely improvised by the
group. The result is a daring collection
of high energy grooves and inspired exchange.
